Later writers assumed he meant the region of Aragón and repeated it often enough that the mistake is still in circulation today. The village is in Guadalajara, in Castile-La Mancha, and is not in Aragón at all.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThis slice formed a long way from either, in karst cavities in the limestone at Ighoud in western Morocco.
